Ben's First Visit!

BB and Nonna brought Ben (Naomi, Mary, and Charlotte's cousin) to visit our house. They arrived yesterday and Ben brought each girl a charm necklace with their initial on it and a nice set of notecards for me. He is very easily the favorite person in our house right now. We celebrated Nonna's birthday last night and hope to play pin the tail on the donkey today to continue the party.

Mary's very exciting day

My camera function on my phone is not working due to a sudden down pour at Sea World. I am hoping once the phone dries out it will return.

I wish I could have taken a picture of Mary's various adventures today. If she ever says "I have a surprise for you Mommy" I know to be worried. She had her first surprise today when she showed me her beautiful drawings on the new leather sofa. She made some nice designs that I have been scrubbing with leather cleaner. Any other pen-on-leather remover ideas?

She was then inspired while watching Toy Story II to clean her rocking horse (For those of you who haven't seen this movie, Woody, the main character has a horse called Round-Up). She very carefully squirted all the Dial hand soap into his mane, washed it with her bathroom cup, and brushed it with my hair brush into a beautiful style. She was also trying to be helpful with Charlotte and pulled her over to rest under the book shelf in between a pillow and a wicker basket.

I know some of you are thinking "Where is Jenn in all of this?" Really, these things happened while I was running downstairs to get a drink of water or throwing in some laundry.

I will try to post some pictures of the girls in their new school uniforms. They are very excited about Circle Christian School which starts at the end of August. Naomi picked out a Circle Christian School Cheerleading tee-shirt, a blue CCS polo, and a zip up sweatshirt. Mary picked out a tee-shirt with the mascot "the lions" and "Est 1995" logo.

Grammy, Pappa, and Michelle's Visit

We just said goodbye to Grammy, Papa, and Michelle. They came to visit us for a whole week! We went to the beach, Downtown Disney, and a few other Orlando sites. We did our own " "Bibbity-Bobbity-Bo Boutique" at the house complete with hair glitter, new outfits, and painted nails. We miss them already.

Fourth of July

Happy Fourth of July! We celebrated first by staying cool indoors at the movie theater. We saw Ice Age III. Everyone had their own kids pack of popcorn, drink, and candy (except for Charlotte who is stuck on milk). We then went to the Oviedo celebration that had three bounce houses and games for the kids. It was still really hot, but Naomi and Mary did not seem to mind even with all the paint on their face. Charlotte kept cool with our water bottles. I went home with her and the older girls stayed with Scott to watch the fireworks. It was probably too long of a day for them because Mary sang through the whole show "Fiya wuks go away, come again anotha day."

Third of July

We decided to stop and pick up some fireworks on the way home from the beach on Friday. They were quite underwhelming.

Naomi's Nap Time

Mary and Charlotte are still taking a two hour nap in the afternoon. Naomi "rests" in the playroom and always has something fun for me to come look at when she's done. This is her replica of the stadium at Sea World.
